Mrs. Josephine aka Mrs. Josie - On-Site Provider

Originally from Italy, Mrs. Josie moved to New York when she was 12 years old.  For 22 years Mrs. Josephine worked in the banking industry as an accountant and is married for 16 wonderful years to her husband, Marco.  They have two amazing boys, Christian who is 14 and Luca who is 8. When Luca turned 3 years old, Mrs. Josie decided to become a child care provider in training while staying at home to raise her sons until they both entered school.  That’s when an opportunity arose and Mrs. Josie became a teacher’s assistant at Variety Learning Center in Syosset.  Unfortunately the position was eliminated after a year but an opportunity to join Snuggle Bugs came about and has been working with our buggies for the past year.  During her free time Mrs. Josie enjoys walking and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Allison - Assistant

For as long as she can remember, Ms. Allison wanted to be a teacher.  But not just any teacher, a teacher drove her students (literally) to and from school and well as in the driving students to be the best that they can be.  For the last 9 years, working in different environments, Ms. Allison found her calling at Snuggle Bugs and absolutely loves being part of the teaching staff.  Being artistic herself, she loves creating activities and projects for the buggies and enjoys reading to them.  Currently Ms. Allison is in college and hopes one day to become a kindergarten teacher one day.  But for right now we are very elated to have her learning and growing, baking, and reading with our buggies.

Ms. Diane - On-Site Provider

Not many people can say they have or are living their dreams but Ms. Diane can.  Since she can remember she always wanted to be a teacher or a dancer.  Dream number one came true thanks to being a member then Director of a Polish Folk Dance Group on Long Island.  She has been able to travel around the United States and performed at the famous Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center and under the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. At the age of 18, Ms. Diane became a child care assistant and fell in love with children under the age of five.   Being able to be with children for three or more years and watching them, guiding them, and helping them reach their milestones is what Ms. Diane loves most about her career.  After working in different child care settings and learning which environment is best for children to thrive in, Snuggle Bugs was created and dream number two became a reality.  Ms. Diane holds a Masters in Early Childhood Education from CW Post and enjoys attending training classes that help her become the best provider she can be.  Ms. Diane is the youngest of her siblings, loves watching her nieces excel in sports, and has a goal to travel to all 50 states before she turns 50.

Ms. Sarah - Assistant

Ever since she was a little girl Ms. Sarah wanted to a teacher and a veterinarian.  Teaching won out when I applied for my first childcare assistant job and the babies stole my heart.   I love reading, singing songs, exploring, and guiding our buggies to achieve their milestones. I love wearing different color scrunchies each day to teach the kiddies the names of colors.  When not at work, I enjoy shopping and spending time with my cats, family, and friends.

Mrs. Bo - Substitute

God broke the mold after Mrs. Bo was born.  We can call her Mrs. Fix It as she loves to tinker and learn how things works, how things get put together, and hasn’t found one project in or around the house that she can’t do.  Originally from Poland, and the youngest of 4 daughters, Mrs. Bo grew up all over the 5 boroughs of New York before settling down in Hicksville. She married her husband, Mr. Zig. 50 plus years ago and have 3 wonderful children (Ms. Diane being the best) and 4 grandchildren.  Mrs. Bo is our unofficial grandma to all the children and she loves coming in, riling them up, and then running away.  But seriously, she loves the children and enjoys playing and teaching all the buggies at both hives.

Mr. Joe - Substitute

Mr. Joe is a big kid at heart.  Growing up Mr. Joe always wanted to help people, he was a volunteer firefighter and an EMT while working for the town and state of NY.   Meeting Ms. Diane 5 plus years ago and moving in he became an automatic substitute.  When Mr. Joe is on site the children know their sillies will be shaken out and the rules can be bent a little.  Mr. Joe loves adventure and traveling and hopes to visit as 50 states before he is 50 also.

Our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.
