What is the Week of the Young Child?
Its an Annual Fun-filled week celebrating early childhood learners, their teachers, families, and the community. WOCY began by The National Association for the Education of Young Children,
We have some exciting activities planned for our buggies this year.
Music Monday
bring in a musical instrument from home - it can be homemade or one you have around the house. Children learn best thru repetition and a catchy beat. We will be singing and dancing all day long!!
DRESS LIKE A ROCKSTAR!
Tasty Tuesday
children will be helping out in the kitchen mixing up some yummy snack and preparing their own lunches. We will be discussing healthy foods and food groups.
MOVE AND GROOVE BUS will be here to tire us out!!
WEAR YOUR FAVORITE PAJAMAS!!
Work Together Wednesday
it is said that it takes a village to raise a child and we love our little village! We will be working together on art projects, completing puzzles as a group, TEAM JERSEY OR SNUGGLE BUGS represent your favorite sports team or rock out in a snuggle bugs shirt (if your child needs one, please let Ms. Diane know!)
STEPPIN' OUT PONIES WILL BE HERE TO TEACH US TEAMWORK!!
Artsy Thursday
art time allows children’s imaginations to flourish, they create real life connections as they draw pictures about the world around them. They work their fine motor muscles and hand eye coordination. Today will be all about murals and creative freedom.

Family Friday!
Friday is designated Family Friday. It’s the day of the week where were celebrate the diversity of families in our program and ask families to create a family collage.
WEAR SILLY SOCKS to show off as we bounce around the MICKY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE BOUNCE YARD from JUMP AND SLIDES!!
